SCS Frigette is a leading designer and integrated manufacturer
of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and
parts. SCS Frigette’s products can be found on a wide variety of
mobile platforms; including military and government vehicles,
commercial delivery vans, class 8 trucks, recreational vehicles,
school and shuttle busses and construction and heavy duty equipment.
The Company is vertically integrated and primarily delivers complete
HVAC systems. Additionally, the Company manufactures and sells
individual parts, including evaporator and condenser coils, injection
molded and vacuum formed plastics, wire harnesses, sheet metal parts
and fittings and hook up tubes. Further, SCS Frigette produces and
sells electronic components, including keyless entry and cruise control systems.
The Company started business in 1954 and in recent years has
grown significantly. Much of its growth came as a result of
supplying the US Army with HVAC systems for the
M1114 Up-Armored Armament Carrier and Bradley Fighting
Vehicle. In 2003, SCS Frigette introduced a diesel powered
generator providing inside -the-sleeper cab HVAC and electrical
power to the commercial trucking industry. The Company is also
a current distributor of Ford Motor Company parts to Ford’s service
centers and dealers. Along with Ford, SCS Frigette has supplied to
auto makers including General Motors, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar,
Mazda, Nissan and Subaru. The Company is ISO certified and
carries other certifications that help ensure the delivery of top quality products.
